Raised Planters

I create beautiful elevated planters, I sand the redwood until it is very smooth. The top cap is a comfortable seat to sit on while planting seeds, fertilizing or cultivating. I use high quality coated screws and I screw the top cap in from the underside so that there are no screws or holes on the top surface. The reason for this is because with time, the wood could splinter, and nobody likes getting splinters in their legs. I join the top's mitered corners together with wood biscuits and screw them together using pocket holes from the underside; these are techniques used by cabinet makers. I use a high quality pure raw Linseed oil shipped here from Sweden to finish the wood because this is a non toxic oil. I firmly believe in keeping everything as organic as possible, and I use organic pest control techniques. I'm a perfectionist and you will be happy with your finished product.
